We left Denver and headed to steamboat springs CO. Where we met mark and Emma. Two friends we were hooked up with from a friend back home!! Thanks James!!! They got u a spot to sleep buuuuutt the place was a small mining house which was not up to pats standards. Also she had two dogs the size of horses. Newfoundlands ?!? We went to a bar with Emma where we met Tyler and cristin two lovely people with an excellent floor for us to crash on. We bought them dinner and the beers they were thinking about buying at the store but didn’t. They immediately liked us after we had a few cold ones and we started to let loose. Best part of the first night was Tyler was one upping everybody so I started one downing. Turned out to be hilarious the rest of the nigt a everyone started catching on. We started the next day by gearing up and heading out to ski. A bus takes u everywhere for free!! Mark and Emma were on the bus. We immediately started one downing them before we told them what we were doing. They caught on quick and every stranger on the bus was laughing so hard!!! Hit the mountain and every one finally realizes I’m 6’4″ and riding skis sized for a 8 year old. 148cm is not my correct size. A very skeptical group they were! (yoda). But they got me through the day just fine with suprised looks on everyone’s faces. Mark came up to me later and said “I can’t tell if youre a really good skier or a really bad one”. I jus laughed and let it go. Obviously I’m good right? I just rode baby skis all day and was blasting everyone except Tyler. Lunch time came and we ate at a Norwegian restaurant. Appz and zerrts on the house just paid for booze!!! Thanks Pilar!!! Headed back to tr slopes fueled up and energized the group moral was higher than before. We were having a blast!!! We skied the rest of the day out and headed home, grabbed a few cold ones and got some pizza. The snow was falling all day And night it had stopped right around midnight. Today is going to be a great ski day!!
